    Darth Vader is Luke's father?

Friend of mine got very angry with me for spoiling the ending of Apollo 13 for her. A woman, mind you, born in the mid-1960s, not 1987 or something.

BTW, am I the only guy who burst out laughing when young Darth Hayden Christensen (sp?) burst into flames in that last awful Star Wars movie? I know it was supposed to be sad or something, but it literally was the single funniest moment for me in a movie theater since, I dunno, Something About Mary? The whole series had long before jumped the shark, but that moment filleted the poor shark and served it on a hot dog bun.

    Sorry for the asides ...

Yeah, they're busted. And Blitzer is still a wimp for failing to properly follow up and press him on that.

I hope this is not allowed to just slide, the parents should be prosecuted for something, if nothing else just to discourage future attention whoring con artists from trying this sort of thing. They manipulated their children and wasted god only knows how much in public resources on a selfish publicity stunt, that's got to be prosecutable for something.

And, btw, anyone else notice a very distinct fart sound about a second after the kid ratted out his parents?

Actually, he did follow up, at which point the father became agitated:

Earlier, when discussing his hiding in the attic, Falcon Henne was heard saying, "We did this for the show."

In this clip, Wolf Blitzer brings this to the family's attention, and they are asked to elaborate.

"I have no idea," Richard said. "I think he was talking about the media."

When Wolf asks the question again, Richard says: "I think I can see the direction you guys are hedging on this... We weren't even going to do this interview... I'm kind of appalled... that you guys are trying to suggest something else."

I'd be appalled too, if I knew I was going to jail for a spell and probably being fined into astronomical bankruptcy.

    Appalling.
