So in which case was the media more gullible? The balloon boy story or the 2008 election season?

 

I do agree the media has a tendency to root for a better story, whatever they are covering. Someone trying to do something that has never been done before, Tiger in golf, team suffers tragedy and hoping to cap season with a championship, long-time losers have a chance to end a skid. Nobody rooted for Goliath.

You don't realize how fucking bald Charlie Brown is until you see his real-life character. He hardly seems bald in the comics.
