I've got a 15 month old at 32 pounds and a 4 year old at 35 pounds and she is pretty skinny (if somewhat tall for her age). 37 pounds seems super tiny.

My 2 year old (almost 3) is very tall, but I still can't believe my kid weighs as much as that poor 6 year old.

I just checked the growth chart for boys. Poor fella is below the 3rd percentile for weight. He's almost off the chart.

Who wants to bet that Kate Gosselin just bought 8 balloons?

She could just put an Ed Hardy shirt on one balloon and call it Jon.

No, although a 2 year old weighing in at 36 pounds sounds unhealthy, there's no need to call child services on you. Yet.

We're going to keep a watch out for you, though.

Poindexter's post above just gave me the heebie-jeebies, for obvious reasons.

LOL - in this day and age, that came out a little odd.

For the record, as Luggy can be assured, any mention of "we" or "watching" is strictly in a figurative sense.

Jeez, you post one or two or 90 threads about teachers banging teens and people look at you funny :)

How did you get the fried chicken and M&Ms in the bottle?

    Nice.

I actually have an 11-month-old who's about 27 pounds, and he's only in the 75th percentile and far from fat. I can't imagine a 6-year-old weighing only 10 pounds more. And after all the televised vomiting this morning, he probably weighs even less.

My son is 6 and he's probably not much more than 37 pounds. He's pretty much at the bottom of the scale, but barely within normal limits. My wife is about 5-1 and I'm 5-9, so he's got small genes to begin with, and he also has pretty poor eating habits, and we aren't yet ready to tie him down and shove food down his throat.

But that's a whole other thread.

A very good blender. The doctor says that he's fine -- he's a big eater, but we don't give him bad stuff -- the worst that he has is a hot dog or steak when I grill.
