    When a coworker offered to buy lottery tickets tonight, I asked him to get me one play good for 10 drawings... if that's the case, then I'm set...
    But you'd think that with all the people buying tickets, every combination would have been covered...

    And twice on this thread, people have said all combos were covered.

    How are the random numbers generated? At the individual terminal level or a server?

    Not wading through 11 pages... if I wanted to do that, I'd start looking at my tickets...

    With (if I did the math correctly) 25,333,661,696 combinations, I guess one or two might slip through the cracks.

    I'm saying the people cited reports saying that.

    175 million combos, right? They said the odds of winning were 1 in 175,000,000.
    My buddy told me there's like a 5 percent chance no one wins; he does investing stuff and the talk at his office today was would it be worth it for a business to buy every single combination.
    Apparently the answer was a very quick no.

    Some girl out of NYC with the Twitter handle @MelissaStetten is claiming she won, with photographic evidence

    @MelissaStetten I think I just won a billion dollars. http://pic.twitter.com/tiYlja5F

    Congrats to her, but what dumbass posts a half-billion dollar target on her back?

    Whatever floats your boat, slappy. You know where the good door is.

    And...hoax, beyond a doubt.

    It's a pretty terrific stunt to get Twitter followers, but I'm damn sure that's a fake.
