Haven't there been some tough laws passed at the state level? I keep hearing horror stories from gun nuts about confiscation in Connecticut and New York.
But maybe those reports have been exaggerated, as gun nuts are prone to do about such things.

I'm left wondering about the psychiatric care some of these guys are receiving. Do their therapists not think they are a potential danger, or are they just reluctant to report it?

Also curious about the meds he may have been on.

It has been suggested Klebold and Harris were both overmedicated.
We're going to have an entire generation here on varying forms of antidepressants because they can't manage the vicissitudes of life.

They're on antidepressants because doctors tell their parents to put them on antidepressants. Mostly because the parents are too caught up chasing paper and can't afford to spend time on developing their kids personalities.

Yes. Because they were mentally ill. Mentally ill people receive treatment for mental illness.

 

I should say the 'treatment' utterly failed, then.

 

Uncanny. Almost like it's a treatment and not a cure, so it doesn't have a 100% success rate.
