The guy was 22. Whatever happened to the time-honored tradition of going to the bar and dragging a drunk wench out of there?

But look at all the damage done by having moronic voters voting for a moron.

Klebold was on Zoloft, which is a pretty hardcore anti-depressant. I think he was on Paxil as well. I know Harris was on something too, but it wasn't one of the better-known drugs.

"Why did Chris die? Chris died because of craven, irresponsible politicians and the NRA. They talk about gun rights — what about Chris' right to live? When will this insanity stop? When will enough people say, 'Stop this madness, we don't have to live like this'? Too many have died. We should say to ourselves: 'Not one more.' " — the father of Chris Martinez, a victim in the shooting spree.

As someone with a close family member who has undergone endless therapy sessions, been in and out of hospitals for mental health issues, attempted suicide more than once and was prescribed more drugs than I care to recount, I have strong feelings on the issue.

In general, I believe we've gone way overboard in prescribing drugs (on many levels).

The family member I mentioned above was in a bad situation for years. Was removed from that situation about seven years ago and has been remarkably healthy. No longer on medication for any mental health issues.

The world that I grew up thinking was bright and blissful was all over. I was living in a depraved world, and I didn’t want to accept it. I didn’t want to give any thought to it. That is why I immersed myself entirely into my online games like World of Warcraft. I felt safe there.

if everyone has a right to firearm, doesn't the government have a responsibility to provide affordable firearms for all citizens?

Nope, that would be socialism. Everyone has a right to own a firearm, but if you can't afford it, you're shit out of luck.

    OK.

Antidepressants, for kids, are highly overprescribed. Drug companies sweeten the pot for doctors pretty good. Parents listen to their doctors.

    10-15 years, I guess we'll see who's right.

My wife's a child psychiatrist. I wish the drug companies were sweetening the pot for her. I'd trade in my seven-year-old car with 120,000 miles for something new. We do have a lot of pens with drug company logos though.
