I don't see how the shoes are any different than the threadjack bashing JDV, but whatever.

John, Did you edit that Wikipedia page to drop your own name into it? I'll hang up and listen. Thanks. Ragu

Here is the thing about the whole M3 deal.

1.) My friends & fam wanted to see a vid about my car

    2.) I posted one

3.) I have the very very best M3 you can get & upgraded it.

4.) Some people are jealous of that or something

5.) The "modding community" has some whacked out geek types that think they are on the set of the "Fast and the Furious" and they wanted to see "Dyno Charts" and "Pink Slips" of my 1/4 mile times and I don't F'in care. I am not going to trash my expensive nice car @ the track. If they want to do that great.

6.) Many saw my other sites and became even more pissed that I have a good life (like others we know).

7.) They have spent untold amount of time promoting me and driving my views through the roof.

In the end, they are my vassals & do my dirty work & last time I checked I still have my sweet car & cool life with even more fame.

I never posted on their site. I made no claims to them. They don't know me from anyone & I don't care. Yet, they all know about me & I would imagine that some have seen me on TV as some in that audience would watch my shows.

So you regard a thread entitled "the biggest douche to drive an M3" to be "promotion"?

Yes, the amount of people reading their thread is small (as seen on the click-throughs on the video). Yet, it gave it an initial pop and they sent it to their friends etc. The net result with my sizeable existing audience is my video being seen by thousands.

Anyone with common sense in my fields can see I am the real deal when they look at my sites.

To that end, I have already gotten some good contacts off of this from fellow lawyers and other professionals looking to do some deals with me.

Thus, they are doing effective PR for me. Correct.

Effective PR... like editing Wikipedia pages to drop your name into them?
