It gets better. My mom saw them last week at one of the casinos in Connecticut.

Me: "What song did Billy Squier play?"
    Her: "Who?"
    Me: "Billy Squier, the guitarist."
Her: "Oh yeah. How would the song have gone?"
    Me: *horribly killing The Stroke*
    Her: "silence*
Me: "I just hope he played Rock Me Tonite."
    Her: *silence*
    Me: "Can you send money?"
    Her: *click*

I always assumed Hay had an "Air Supply" like relationship with the flute player - only to discover the Air Supply duo weren't "singing for each other" if you know what I mean. Same can be said for Hay and the flute player.

He does tons of stuff for Scrubs.

    "Overkill" --
-- is the introduction to the second season, I believe, and it's the entire opening for the song. The suits didn't want Bill Lawrence and Co. to go this route, but they assured him because of Colin Hay's song, it'd do really well. And it did. He's done plenty of other stuff with the show, too, and all of it fit in wonderfully.

Really? Count me as one of those who thought the guys in Air Supply were swinging from the same side of the plate.

As Mikey the virgin notes, "Overkill" is just perfectly placed in Scrubs. I especially love when Cox goes crazy on him and smashes the guitar.

Colin: "I have other songs, you know."
    Cox: "I'm sure you do."

  6. You guys are making a mockery of my Men at Work homage.

    It's a mistake!

This thread truly has become the story of Dr. Heckyll and Mr. Jive.
