I have TWO GTR CDs. The one with When the Heart Rules the Mind AND a King Biscuit Flower Hour Live CD from a show in Los Angeles.

Then there was K(anter)B(alin)C(assidy), the Airplane/Starship alumni club.

Probably the most durable (7 albums) and successful of the "supergroups"

Four pages in and no mention of HSAS. Fail!

You're absolutely correct: HSAS as a supergroup? FAIL.

  8. This story may have slipped through the cracks but I understand that the Australian legislature is considering a bill that would change the national anthem from Waltzing Mathilda to Men at Work's I Come From a Land Down Under. The bill is being fast tracked in order to get the change into effect for the Olympics (as if the Australians were going to win anything).

    I shit you not.

You mean the lyrics aren't ...

"I come from a land down under
Where beer does flow and men medal ... "

  10. Do the Traveling Willbury's count as an 80's Super Group?

I mean they weren't in the same class as Men at Work or Candlebox but they were pretty good.

I'd put BYH in my 80s Super Group. If he's not 80s, neither L.A. Gears and Chia Pets.

    Candlebox was the '90s.

Go back to listening to Rush (Limbaugh), you conservative jerkwad!
