    That is so meta.

    Things I will never understand...
--No live footage of the events?
Ok, if remove the tin foil hat interfering with the reception of your TV

--It looked exactly like a controlled demolition. Oh, really? How many controlled demolitions have you seen where the building fell top down instead of collapsing on itself from the bottom. Also, I am so sick of the idiots who scream A FIRE CAN'T BRING DOWN A BUILDING! Maybe not, but you know what can? Weakening support beams that are trying to hold up 20 floors or so above them. Gee, you think something hitting them at around 300 MPH might do a little damage?

Nice job on the thread, KY.

It never ceases to amaze me how people on here can so easily twist others words.

I have NEVER said I agreed with the people who believe 9/11 was faked. Nor have I ever said there was never any live footage from that day or that it was a controlled demolition.

I knew this would be an emotional topic and that I'd most likely get jumped by a bunch of you here, and that's exactly what happened. Shouldn't surprise me though, as I've seen it happen a lot since I started posting here.

No, Simon...even that day...remember Peter Jennings saying how it looked like a controlled demolition?

KYSW, to be fair, it was a really bad idea. On every level. And it reads really poorly, like you really DON'T disagree, and just want to see others argue it.

It's like people starting threads saying "I don't think every Muslim is a towel-wearing racist asshole, but I've heard it said..."

The fact that there's a thread called "9/11: Real or fake?" is one of the most offensive things I've seen on here.

Maybe the original title wasn't the best, but didn't KY start the thread with this?

I don't think a debate about the conspiracy theories out there is that terrible. If nothing else, it's a thread where we can bitch about all the fucking idiots out there that want to gain personal fame from spreading their idiotic statements.

For example, some people here, and MANY people throughout the US and other countries think Michael Moore actually knows what he's talking about. Well here's a couple of quotes from their beloved fat fucker.

    As for the Pentagon:

http://www.prisonplanet.com/articles/june2007/190607Moore.htm (There is a video where you see these quotes are real if you do not believe it)

Edit: For the record, I think Michael Moore is one of the biggest fucktards that ever lived. I loathe him.

No, KG, I know. And I don't think KYSW meant any harm by it. But he's incurably naive if he really thought this was an OK idea, thread title changed or not.

    I meant no harm whatsoever.

And looking back on it, I apologize to everyone who was offended by the original thread topic.

Buckdub's right -- it's a really, REALLY bad day to schedule a "nice debate," KYSW. Just sayin'.
