3. Strangers Almanac - Whiskeytown vs. 2. Car Wheels on a Gravel Road - Lucinda Williams. Ugh, hate to knock out Lucinda, but Strangers Almanac is my favorite alt-country album of the '90s, so out she goes.

MIDWEST
1. Trace - Son Volt vs. 4. Gangstability - Drive By Truckers. Maybe the best alt-country album of the decade.
14. Wrecking Ball - Emmylou Harris vs. 2. AM - Wilco. Expect Tweedy's first effort to get crushed in the next round.

The last few rounds we've had seven voters each time. Unfortunately this time around Zeke hasn't voted yet. Since I'd like to move on and get the next round up, I'm going to cut off the voting now, and since there are no ties, I won't be voting again.
