Don't feel guilty if you don't know what day Steak and BJ Day falls on. The most interesting non-sports journalists I know post on the Subscriber board. Some of the most interesting sports journalists I know still don't.

Be careful whose Random Thoughts thread you read, but be patient with those who are drunk on it. Advice is a form of nostalgia. Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

You are testing my memory a bit... that was back in 2002. I think May 2002 when Wally posted the column here. I think a little while after that, I took the site down for a bit and relaunched with a new registration based system.
