You should go to Pay on line if your bank offers. Its easy. You can schedule day for payment to be taken out or do it manually. It gives you much greater control.

Banks will find every possible way to screw you out of an extra dollar. They know every single loop hole, meanwhile the average Joe Shmo can barely count to 10 without taking his shoes off. I fall into the later category. However, one thing I've found recently that helps a lot is internet banking, and with most of these set ups you can set it so a payment on a bill or loan goes through on a specific day, avoiding the whole wondering if the bank will cash your checque before you have the money dilema.
