The Saints signed Nathan Peterman. Poor Justin.

The Steelers screwed that kid over every which way since the moment they drafted him. Maybe he wouldn't have worked out anyway, but they did neither him nor themselves any favors,

In the short term, they now need at least two receivers, a center, a backup quarterback, and help in the secondary for a team that just made the win-now move of signing Russell Wilson. Not good.

I wonder if this is leading up to signing Fields to compete with Wilson. That would be entertaining.

Play Justin in the first half and Russ in the second.

Didn't the Broncos try that once when Elway was hurt? Tommy Maddox and Shawn Moore?

Russell Wilson is not a win-now move. The Steelers are paying league minimum just to see if he isn't toast.

Russ is only about cashing the Waltons' checks. The Steelers are only paying him the league minimum because they have to.

Cowboys are conducting a fire sale.

The biggest sign yet Stephen has taken Jerry's keys away.

    At 35, he certainly isn't a win-later move.

Ravens have Josh Johnson and Malik Cunningham - you would think Fields would be an upgrade and potentially salvage a season if something happened to Jackson.

Its a weird deal with Fields - you'd like to see him play - but the team only has him for one year and who knows what he'd be worth on the market, or be worthy of the tag. I still think he would project to have a better season than almost every qb rumored to be a first rounder - but the uncertainty of the future cost and cap hit is what's keeping him in Chicago.
Though I do wonder if some team is going to go big and make a good offer for the top pick - some of these franchises - New England, Denver, Washington - really can't afford to just accept whatever QB is available to them.
