Mahomes takes one for the team at just $45 million. :)

That contract made him the highest-paid player ..... four years ago.

The QB market doesn't care about your talent. If you are very good and your about to become a free agent, you get the biggest contract until the next guy signs

Hard Knocks is doing the entire AFC North this season.

After missing out on the playoffs in the first two seasons, Hard Knocks isn't fucking around with chance any more.

It'd be fucking hilarious if the NFL modified the old Arena Football League rule*** and decreed that the top seven teams in each conference, regardless of division, made the playoffs and if every AFC North team went 8-9 or worse and missed the playoffs.

***don't ask me why I know this

Sounds like how they decide things in CFB when conferences abandon divisions.

Its odd to me how many NFL teams have open-air stadiums and or retractable roofs but still use fake grass for their field. Seattle and Buffalo might be the only excusable ones. MLB only has five teams that play on the fake stuff.
I know the player's union says it is so teams can host concerts and such, but isn't the stadium concert season usually over by September? And don't you make more than enough on those to pay for a new field every year?
