    Why? You'd be defending the high holy ground of sports from those sullying it by including competitive eating. Take ESPN to task for airing it! Ridicule outlets that provide coverage of it!

    Again, some of you folks might have worked at places that would have gone for this stuff. Fortunately, I haven't ... and wouldn't.

    Today on SPORTS SHOUT FEST: Does the women's Olympic team need Caitlin Clark MORE than the Hot Dog Contest needs Joey Chestnut. We will YELL about it......NEXT!!!!!

    I don't believe eating a bunch of food is a sport.
    Others apparently do.

    Yes, only crap newspapers would include coverage of competitive eating. Good to know you'd never accept a lowly gig at the NYT, WaPo, Boston Globe or LA Times.
