I really liked Lake Erie Monster too, but I can't find that anywhere outside of the greater Cleveland area, it seems.

I haven't had many Nitro beers, but I can say the Milk Stout did not seem to be lacking in flavor to me.

  3. I'm thinking of giving up beer.

Made an ice cream float out of this yesterday.

The 'I Can't Believe It's Not Butter' was not included.

Not sure if wither of you watches The League on Fx, but this reminds me of the episode this season when Taco was squatting in the dead shrink's home and was "counseling" patients.

Patient: Can't stop drinking and doing drugs, doc.

Taco: Here's what we're going to do. Every time you think about doing drugs, you call me. Then we can drink or smoke together. Then, every time you come I will drink and smoke more, and eventually I will doing ALL the drugs!

Enjoyed this the other night. Quickly becoming one of my favorite breweries. I'm beginning to like "hoppy" beers more and more. This one improved as it warmed in the glass.

It also took away some of the sting of my overly spicy chicken mole.

Tonight I'm drinking this. I love Quads, but have never had this for some reason.

For three of the past four years I have observed Drunkards Lent. I stop drinking after Super Bowl Sunday and don't resume until Paddy's Day.
    I'll lose five pounds.

Just a brag post here: Entered my first homebrewer competition and took 3rd for my Russian Imperial Stout.

OK, back to your regularly scheduled drinking.

Scored a pour of Pliny the Younger from Russian River on Saturday morning, after a 90-minute wait outside in 20-degree temps. Scratch that one off the Beer Bucket List, and boy was it worth it. Fantastically complex, and you could show me the number, let me watch the entire process and give me a BAC test afterward and I still would never believe it was an 11%+ brew.

Paired it with an Elder to compare. Now, the Elder is terrific by itself. When trying it with the Younger nearby, it was washed out completely.

Also picked up a bomber of Rodenbach Grand Cru. I've never tried a sour, but was told it's a good intro to the style. Haven't cracked it yet, but looking forward to it.
