A New Beer Thread

Did you go to the tasting room or the restaurant? They opened what I believe they call the gastropub not too awfully long ago. Haven't been to either yet.

 

I know. It's in Munster. I was just told by my Virginia beer friends that I needed to get my hands on some of it when I was out there. Black Acre has a bunch of in-house brews and a rotating set of guest taps, and Three Floyds was one of them.

 

Just had New Glarus' holiday ale, and it was fucking amazing.

Yeah, cool. Hope that didn't come off like a douche - I live in Munster. So I'm territorial!

But I wouldn't be surprised if people thought that Munster was an Indy suburb. It's a Chicago suburb.

 

Cigar City Helles Lager. Trying as many varieties of Cigar City that I can.

 

Had a National Homebrew Competition gold medal winner today. It was a buddy's strawberry brett saison. Fucking amazing. One of the best beers I've ever drank.

 

3 Daughters Summer Storm Stout.

 

3 Floyd's Baller Stout yesterday. Perhaps the best beer I've ever had.

 

Just combined 2 New Glarus beers, Totally Naked and Two Women, both lagers.

I call it: Two Totally Naked Women!

Sierra Nevada is selling a red IPA now. Not bad.
not as good as Green Flash's red IPA, though, which is very excellent.
