    Because they can.

    Most of us couldn't even have considered doing this sub trip, and that's what decides things for us. Sure, we say we'd never do it. But what if we could, in the first place, just because we actually have the means? We'd might've considered it a lot more seriously then. No?

    It's just like those who would take a trip to the moon -- if they could.
