    Dear Ms. Tart,

Thank you for confirming it's "oy." Some keep trying to convince me it's "oi."

    Dear, 'tart.

In the AC/DC song and in the Jocko commercial for Energizer, I always thought it was "oy." Decades of assumption crushed.

Dear guy next to me on the flight last night,

You must have the smallest bladder in the history of man. In a five hour flight, six trips to the bathroom. Either that or you had some damn good blow that couldn't wait. Second, it is not necessary to yell "OH SHIT!!" when you spill a little bit of water on you. I was just starting to fall asleep.

    Cordially,
    BB

    Dear Board,
For the first time since before she passed away three years ago, I got to hear Sarah Elizabeth's voice again. God, it was good to hear her -- even if it was only a 5-second voice mail recording.

I miss her more and more every day.

    Dear SJ World,

My 22 year old daughter posts this as her Facebook status today:

"Fuck yeah Texans we got the playoffs! First time ever and I will be there!!"

And I am crucified for being a horrible mom for raising a child that will drop the F-bomb in her FB status even though she has no FB friends under the age of 17?

    Am I a horrible mom?

    Folks,

At what point do people usually get over the whole "everything needs to be fair" point of their lives? I am thinking it is somewhere in your 20's maybe earlier. I wish a couple of my coworkers, who are probably in their 40's, would learn this lesson.

    Cordially,

    Dear Lies(l),

No, you're not a horrible mom for that. And you're an even better mom for your avatar.

    Just sayin'

    BB,

No. Llife is not fair. Sometimes people in their early 20s drop the F-bomb and piss off people that are in their 40s. Sometimes you just have to go with the flow, know what I mean?

    Liesl,

People get offended by someone saying fuck? Hell, I love to say fuck. Fuck is a cool word! Seriously, the offended parties, they some kinda Jesus freaks?

    BB,

Well, yes, one person got offended when my 22 year old put it in her status. See above. Apparently, said person was upset because my mom can see it. Like she doesn't know her granddaughter drops it all the time.

Now of all sudden I am a bad parent because I allowed it to happen.
