    Bodie,

It depends on where you're working as to which cheap (relative to the rest of the city) area will be best for you to look. You will probably need at least one roommate. In the area I used to live, there were some 2 bedroom apts for around $1,350-$1,500. For what it's worth, I used craigslist for my apartment search there and for finding someone to fill my apartment when we had an extra spot.

Dear middle aged female Walgreens shopper,

I understand in these hard economic times everyone wants to save a buck. HOWEVER, don't wait until you get to the cashier before thumbing through your store catalog to find coupons for ALL of the nine items in your shopping cart.

It would be one thing if there were not multiple people behind you who had better things to do than watch you slowly lick your fingers, adjust your Harry Caray glasses, then examine each page closely before locating the coupon which enables you to save 75 cents on body lotion.

But we don't have such a luxury at 11 p.m. Time, and my frozen snacks, waits for no man, lady. And that includes you, too.

If the families on TLC's Extreme Couponing have the decency to cut out, gather and organize their 1,000 coupons to save EVERYONE time before buying $500 worth of food at local grocery store, then Mrs. Inconsiderate should do the same.

    Regards,

    Devin

    Dear people with guns,

Please keep them away from schools. I found a shell casing of a .32 Smith & Wesson on the football/soccer field tonight of the game I covered. It kind of made me mad.

I'm all for the right to bear arms, but come on ...

    Dear Board,

When did people stop RSVPing for parties? I'm co-hosting a baby shower next Saturday. The RSVP by date was yesterday. More than half the people haven't responded. So we might have 7 people or we might have 22. Big difference. We have to order the food by Tuesday, so I hope the stragglers figured out their schedules.

    Hugs,
    Dyno

    Dear Dyno,

Dammit, I misplaced the mail that day. So sorry. :( And I can't make it; I have to work.

    Just regrettin'
    Dools
