People want to read about the misery an 0-47 softball team experiences? I have my doubts.

wait, you have turmoil, the possibility of no more program and not a single win in 47 attempts ... i dunno man, i think somebody could have turned that into an award winner.

    Dear stomach,

You're empty now. It took 12 hours of really violent actions, but you're empty. And I'm tired. And still at work. So please, for the love of god, stop bothering me now.

    Dear rehab center,

If you don't do right by my pops, we're all coming to get ya. (The fantastic side of all this is my dad is finally getting out of the hospital).

    Dear future married men:

Protip for you: when you try to address one marital complaint, three more will be created in its place. You may as well do what you want, because you will be wrong anyway.

    Insensitively yours

    Folks,

Seeing my grandmother, who for all my life has been my second parent and one of the strongest people I know, in the hospital with all kinds of tubes coming out of her is almost too much for me to handle. I took this vacation to come home and help her out while my mom is out of the country. Now, I can't do a fucking thing to help my gramma. I went to visit her as soon as my flight landed and I couldn't stop bawling when I was in the room. I hate being so helpless. She is intubated, but in stable condition. She was able to write: she wished me a happy birthday and reminded me to put gas in my mom's car :)

    Frustrated and sad,
    Bodie.

    Dear Bodie,

My dad was in that same spot two weeks ago to the day, nearly, so I know what it's like. I'll offer up some thoughts your way.

    Wick,

Thanks. My grandmother has had some health issues in the past, but after this I think everything is going to be different. I have so many good memories of my life that revolve around her, I guess I should hold on to them.
