    Wick,
She's no longer intubated. Looks like she is gonna have to go to a rehab facility for a little while. I have to go back to NYC for work soon so my mom will have to come home early from vacation and take care of things.

    Bodie.

    Dear all,

Thanks for the kind words. If you hear of any openings in the Atlanta area, let me know.

    IJAG and Bodie,

Hope things get better for y'all. IJAG, in my previous life (pre-Army), I worked in Georgia for many, many years (like 1998-2010) and know a lot of people down this way. I'll keep my ear to the ground.
Bodie, hope your grandma improves. The last time I saw my grandmother (who's now 99 and has Alzheimer's, so she doesn't recognize most of the family), it was about 6 years ago and my heart just broke seeing her in her bed barely knowing me. I need to take leave and go see her again.

    Joe,

It's kinda odd, gramma was a little off when I went and saw her. She seemed confused about some things. Granted she has been in the hospital for a week and was intubated for four days. So she was probably just disoriented from fatigue.

    Dear swollen feet,

I never knew you could be so puffy. I do not like this part.

    Joe,

She is a lot better than when she went in. Gramma, much like me, is a talker and she was chatting up a storm when I was there yesterday.

    Dear Cousin,

If you don't stop criticizing EVERY SINGLE THING your little daughters do, they are going to grow up to hate you and tune you out even more than they are already starting to. It's heartbreaking to watch.

    Sadly,

    Folks,

I work for an airline and I will never get why they basically give customers two options to fly: really fucking early or late.

It's like you can fly from 5-9 am then there is nothing until 9 pm, unless of course you are flying out of a hub. I do like the hub system because I hate long flights. More than three hours and I get really antsy.

    MC,

I am at the airport right now. The TSA line at 5:20 was fucking nuts, the check-in line was long as all hell and there are probably a dozen people standing in line at the gate.

    Bodie.
