    Dear Trivia Gods,

Thank you for instilling in me the ability to remember almost useless information. That ability won me a pair of tickets to see the Atlanta Braves face Bryce Harper and the Nationals in Atlanta in September. Now, the matter of finding someone to go with.....

    Regards,

    Joseph

    Dear Joseph:

Several SJers live in Atlanta... you'll have no trouble finding someone to go with you.

    Dear residents of my town:

I don't care how hot it is, you should not wear open-toed shoes in public if...
    • You have velociraptor toenails. (You can trim them, you know.)
    • Your toenails disturbingly resemble 30-year-old Fritos.
    • From the knees down, you look remarkably like a hobbit.

    Thank you.

    Dear Killick,

Some people are attracted to fat, hairy feet.

Actually, I take that back. You're right.

    Matt,

I know. Just got to find one who'd like to go. At least I have some time to figure it out before the game. Maybe the Braves and Nats will both be close to the pennant race by the time the game gets here. Of course, with how the Braves are playing lately, that's easier said than done....

    Regards,

    Joseph

    Dear family,

Getting stressed out over situations means you won't find a solution easily.

Please, everyone take a chill pill. Or a shot of Jameson.

    Dear board,

First, thank you all for the well wishes, both on here and in PMs from individuals. They have been more appreciated than you could know.

Roundabout my sophomore year of college, I realized I had no idea how to study. Had never done it. Paid enough attention and absorbed stuff enough in HS and in lecture classes to get by (certainly not excel). But then, the reality hit me in the face and I could never catch up.

I feel like that's happening now. Connections and enough talent to get me by have gotten me here, but as I look to transition into a different sort of career, or at least job, I have no idea how to prepare for an interview. I'm trying my damndest, but my ol' brain doesn't work quite the way it used to.

So any helpful hints and/or crossed fingers would be awesome.

    MC,

So sorry to hear that. They were already lucky to have you; moreso now.

Sending hugs and healthy thoughts to the pups,
