    Liesl,
    You're awesome.

    IJAG,
I wish you would have. The banter would've been hilarious.

Dear good people of the world,

    Cancer sucks.

An acquaintance from high school, someone I knew for a couple years, but hadn't talked to in a while, died Wednesday of that horrible disease.

    He was 27. Fuck.

    Beaker,

I am sorry for your loss, knowing how shallow that sounds.

There is nothing pretty about cancer.

    Thinking of you,

    Lies,

Thank you for the thought, much appreciated! I pretty much had completely lost touch with him, but still, it makes me just sad and angry at the same time. Just much, much too young.

    Beaker,

    27 is way too young.

    My daughter is 23.

Life is not fair at times.

    Liesl,

    Sigh, no it definitely isn't.

Off to bed for me, thank you for your thoughts,

    Beaker,

So sorry for your loss. It was around this time two years ago that I realized I was going to lose my brother to this horrible disease. I wish we could get closer to eliminating it.

    Hugs,

    Magic

    Dear Beaker,

Keep Pounding. I'd send you a bracelet or something as a reminder if I had 'em to spare. Can't find the little things anymore. All the best, and hope for better days ahead ... for cancer survivors and for memories of your friend's healthier days.

    Take care ...
