    wick,

I don't do prayer, but I'm sending all the positive vibes and internal strength I have to spare to you.

    CB,

Thanks for your kind words.... and, more importantly, I'm glad your story has a happy ending.

P.S. Love to everyone else for their support, too.

    Dear good people of SJ,

I recently bought my first new car EVER.

    2012 Nissan Versa Hatchback.

I am excited to say the least still. Have had it for about two weeks now.

Now can you just tell me one thing.

How the hell am I supposed to pay for it? :D

    Sincerely,
    T_D

    T_D,

Guessing you got a better interest rate than smallpotatoes, so hold on to that little bit of good news.

Oh, and give it the green, good stuff.

    Dear IJAG,

I thought I saw a thread about buying a new car.

Not sure about the interest rate SP got. My payment is a little hefty but I didn't think I'd be able to get one at all. My credit score was a lot better than I thought.

    Dear wicked,

Don't mess with the stray (dumb) dog. You might wind up with rabies. The sun'll come out... tomorrow?

    P.S. Stay safe, everyone!

    Dear Board -

I'll admit it: I'm scared. My windows rattle in regular wind, so you can imagine what Sandy is doing to them. Trying to sleep, but I can't. I want to be asleep when the power (inevitably) goes out.

    Not enjoying this,

    Dyno

    Dear Dyno,

The good news is the power being out helps you being asleep.

May it all be that easy.

    Dear Dyno,

You will be fine. Get a good night's sleep if you can. Fatigue is the enemy of optimism.
