    Dear ex boyfriend,

You killed the cat. Even though he was yours to begin with, I was the one who loved him and took care of him. When I left, you allowed him to starve himself to death. It will be a year ago this week that he had to be put down.

I miss him. He was a special kitty.
    I don't miss you.

    Sincerely,
    Cadet

    Dear Cadet,

    The little bastard deserved it.

    Sincerely.

    Your ex-Beau.

    Mr. Petty,

That was certainly uncalled for. What gives? You and I have never sparred here.

    Yours in confusion,

    Dear Mr. Petty:

    Lamest joke ever. Uncalled for.

    Yours somewhat irately, etc etc

EDIT: I have just been informed by a friend that this is the lamest 10,000th post ever. However, I can't imagine this being any lamer than whatever BYH's 10,000th post was. ;D

  6. What possesses someone to make a post like that, I'll never know. It's stuff like this that ends up turning good, well-meaning threads into something distasteful. And "lighten up" or "have a sense of humor" or "it's a message board" doesn't excuse it.

Sad, really, and not just because sharing one's feelings about the loss of a pet requires a person to become vulnerable. Taking advantage of that vulnerability to drop a sick joke is shameful and mean.

    Dear Dyno,

    (re: Target)

It is very sad that the people in your Target suck. The motto of Target is "Fast, fun, and Friendly." You should report said cashier immediately. :)

    Love,
    Spup

Dear good people of the world (yeah, I know, preachin to the choir) and not-so-good people of the world:

If you're picking someone up at their house, have the common decency to get out of your car, go to the door and ring the doorbell. Do not sit in your car and blow the horn.

    Thank you,

    N_W

    Dear spup:

A few months back, I did just that and got an unsatisying form email response (that included a typo). There's a bigger, better Target a little further away that I'll probably start going to more often. Thanks for caring.

    Hugs,
    Dyno

    Dear Dyno,

That is disappointing. I suppose being a member of the leadership team at Target makes me upset to hear employees like that exist. Sorry you had issues with it.

    Hugs,
    spup
