A Rod to Miami?

I treat that as a false rumor designed to smear Jeter - just because he's been with many women doesn't mean he has herpes. No one has come forward to accuse him of spreading it. Also, I believe that among all the reporters covering the team, if someone had seen genital sores on the Captain we'd have heard about it (much like the bacne story about Piazza).

I've not personally seen Jetes' groin area to be certain. What's next, are you going to suggest that Jeter's fabled 'lack of range' is due to herpes sores?

which would be 2009 if you want to break it down year by year. career ops postseason is 838 regular season 945. strikeout rate in the postseason also higher, 1 per game. i'm sure there were many april and may games where ARod struck out with runners on 2nd and 3rd and less than 2 outs. but most people think it's a bigger spot when that happens in the playoffs.
