    NBA Draft Thread

May this serve as it ...

I just saw the black-and-white EA Sports commercial with Adam Morrison opening "Yeah, I cried ... " and shows him shooting around on the playground. He talks about how he cried because it hurt, and how winning was the most important thing, and how he hopes he always has that intensity, and how that yes, he cried, and that when he gets to the NBA, there will be more crying.

    I liked it.

I love the guy. OK, it's just a man crush. He was my favorite player in college, and I'm pretty sure he'll be my favorite pro.

And I still think he's going to land on the Celtics.

I don't have a Top 5 draft prediction. But do any of you?

P.S. Why Bilas keeps saying Redick is a better shooting that Morrison I'll never know. Redick is a tough little kid. But he's no Morrison.

The odds on the Celtics drafting Morrison are 1000-1. Ainge doesn't even want to use the pick if he can help it.

Yeah I'll eat a bug if Morrison lasts past Portland.

Portland would pick Sam Bowie again before it picked Morrison. The Blazers suck at everything.

If Brandon Roy makes it to No. 6, that's an absolute steal. He should be a top-three pick.

And supposedly, the Hawks have pledged to pick Sheldon Williams at No. 5 if he's there. He won't make it to the Celtics.

Commentary on ESPN.com by Rick Majerus after Gay gets picked first: " I am still not a big Gay guy"- I remember watching that live and not laughing at first because I thought there was no way he said that. Then, I saw Lavin cracking up and I lost it.

Morrison might go at three, but not to the Bobcats as long as Jordan has a heavy hand on the team.
