The question was whether the not guilty verdict in the double murder case could provide an issue for appeal in the Lloyd case. It cant, because motive isn't an element of the crime.

Motive, means, opportunity! I seen law and order, man. Jk.

The whole exercise seemed futile though I know they want justice for the families of the two victims. That Hernandez palled around with a lying drug dealer seems like an odd thing to perhaps help get him off. I mean, who shot the guy between the eyes? And why? No winners in the whole thing, except maybe Hernandez's attorney

Even if it isn't, I'm going to pretend this is performance art.

The U? He went to Florida. Another attention to detail fail? You'd be a hell of a juror.

It wasn't proven that he did the two murders.

    Big difference.

Others have answered the legal portion of that question, but his motive for killing Lloyd wasn't to cover up those murders. I think that was the early speculation, but later prosecutors said his motive for killing Lloyd was that Lloyd was talking the wrong people in a club and the fact that he knew Hernandez had an arsenal at his flop house. They said he was super paranoid because he was a PCP user and that was pretty much enough to set him off.

Is it irony? Tight end kills himself with the tight end of a prison sheet.
