With Steve Stephens yesterday, that's two useless assholes who have offed themselves in two days. If we continue at this pace of ridding the world of useless shit stains one a day this planet could be damn near tolerable by 2400.

From the statement from the correctional facility....
Somewhere, there's a tight-ass correctional officer who's equally pissed off by (A) having to drag a body out of a cell, and (B) some thoughtless punk who tried to screw around with his beloved door.

How soon before the truthers come out, claiming Hernandez was murdered because he knew too much! Hernandez knows where Jimmy Hoffa is buried, why birds suddenly appear whenever you're near and that Roger Goodel drinks milk straight from a cow's teat. It was a conspiracy to keep him silent ... but Tippi Hedren's pillow wept this morning when she heard the news.

I wouldn't use the word "fawning" per se, but Mike and Mike this morning was a little heavy for me on their coverage. The wasted potential, troubled past, etc., has been covered plenty the last few years, so spare me the rehash now (which also never gives enough respect to the victims). Today, he's a murderer who took the easy way out instead of having to think about it for the next 50 years. That can be covered in 15 seconds without the usual ESPN correspondent roundup.

I didn't listen, but it is a tough spot for a radio host. You have to lead with the story and unless you are going to take the "he's a murderer, fuck him" approach, you are basically left with the "it's a tragic situation" angle.
