Nah . . . just an adult way of doing things.

    "Sneaky, waddling, frantic lackeys".

What a punk. Typical Dookie prep trash.

At least the problems in college basketball in this area are minimal . . . compared to, say, the sustained abortions that Yankee/Red Sox games have become.

It sounds like he is just reading straight AP copy.

When it comes to determining who the bigger douchebag is in this story I'd have to call it a tie.

This kid has ZERO self-awareness. I'm aware that that's a near-inevitable flaw of many that age, but it's virtually a required attribute when you're looking to toss multiple grenades.

The ONLY reason I prefer seeing the local prep teams I cover win is because it's generally easier to get a good quote from a winning team (and coach) than it is from the losing side (although it's not impossible). There aren't many things in my job that are tougher than trying to get a quote from a bawling senior whose season, and more than likely their playing career, has just ended with a playoff loss.

I still think a sharp, cutting comeback right at the start of the discussion would have prevented a conflict.

Behavior aside, the kid can definitely write.
