    And it's funny that folks here are ragging on YF and think he has some kind of bias because he is questioning the veracity of professional journalists whose job it is to ask questions.

    I agree with the folks who say the piece is lacking, but while its possible he phoned this one in, I will say Bob Nightengale has been doing this for a long time at a pretty high level, and deserves a little more benefit of the doubt than he's getting here.

    I think it's possible that Nightengale has it right. Perfectly possible.

    Readers don't care who wrote the story, though.

    Healthy instincts in my book. Crappy journalism coupled with undiscerning readers can be a dangerous combination if you give a fuck about getting at the truth.
