Advanced Athletic Training Thread

Don't say that, I found it very entertaining that SS resurrected the thread. Especially because JDV said a couple of days ago that he was going to "take out" SS, yet SS keeps on posting and becomes more and more credible with his posts.
I love this thread.

 

Oh they are both bad, but amusing.

 

I feel like we're caught in some twilight zone, where sportswriters have been transported to weightlifting land.

I wonder what that's like; to take the time to register (or re-register?) on an Internet message board with the sole intent of attacking someone.

Seems counterproductive.

See almost all of these people are not worth my time in any way shape or manner.

When something becomes worth my time to deal with it gets handled.

What I could mention is that I know many of the DA's and federal prosecutors and DEA agents in this area along with a good many of the judges personally.

I know many of them would like to clean up the drug problem (among other possible shady activity) and are always looking for good tips.

What is also clear is SS has basically:

1.) Promoted REPEATEDLY Diablo Barbell which is a purely commercial powerlfting organization.

2.) Their grudge against me in large part stems from the head guy's fear that I will get back into the training business and crush his business (he already has had major competitive issues with former members setting up their own shop and lifter defections to other gyms/teams).

It also stems from me being drug-free and from the fact that I refused to train there when they asked me to and that I ALWAYS beat any of the guys they put against me to compete.

3.) SS is clearly speaking for Diablo (thanks for saving that Angola - don't worry I have too ) and has admitted that a good percentage of the diablo lifters use drugs (not that I was really worried about getting that confirmed). Now I am sure a few of the old ladies that are over there don't use drugs and such & that is great - congrats.

4.) The rest of the post is again lies & misinformation and basically throwing ANY amount of mud against the wall to see what sticks (ah nothing nice try)

5.) Can't deal with nor dispute ANY of the facts I have presented - not one. Says I suck & is CLEARLY pissed that I trained and am friends with one of the greatest homerun hitters of all time, among many other pros.

6.) Look at their site & message board in detail and see exactly what you are dealing with there - you call THAT credible Angola - you are a fool. That is called WISHING for something to be true and writing a story ahead of time & damn the facts.

7.) This guy I can tell you has WON NOTHING MAJOR EVER, DONE NOTHING EVER, TRAINED NO MAJOR PROS EVER, and I beat his best total weighing almost 80lbs less!!!! WTF???

HUGE cred this guy has. I have competed longer, won more, look better, trained many more top guys, and more athletic & fit, etc. etc.

When I am sober again - tomorrow morning likely - I will have to do some searching on the site, but I am pretty sure you said somewhere that you would make it living hell for SS on another thread and that you would "crush him."

At any rate, whatever.

 

Also, have you ever tried toothpaste? If you haven't, then you shouldn't be knocking it.

Again, you all can see my resume above. It speaks for itself. Saying I am not super elite means I am no MJ or something of powerlifting, but there are plenty of other great players who have rings you know.

This guy's site and going down the tubes - it is dead more or less. No one cares.

He is TRYING to build some heat for his buisiness and is soo pissed that I get press, etc. and he doesn't.

Well, that is because I know something & have done something.

Seriously, I don't have time for this garbage.

I promote free speech all the time and feel that the best antidote for bad speech is more speech. Yet, I think the powers that be may need to consider a ban on SS and/or a deletion of this thread as it is simply an out and out slander & hit piece on me with no facts whatsoever and no chance to properly face the accuser.

Look man, I try to be a cool dude. I really do. I know I have some power & I take that seriously & don't abuse it. Moreover, 95%+ of these cases would be a TOTAL waste of my time to deal with as you can't deal with every peanut in the gallery and the bigger you get the more haters come with the territory. I get that.

On the other hand, there is only so long you can deal with out and out lies and bs. When I am forced to deal with something it gets handled.

Some posters here are every thin skinned. Think about it - how many could really take the heat I have? How about entire threads with thousands of views devoted solely to trashing, lying and sliming you in your own name?

SS came on here (although he since erased all of his early threads) and said flat out he was here to get me "the showdown" and didn't care if he got banned because he is an Internet slimemaster "that is what he does"

& you want to run with that as credible???

Look, I know some here don't like my style - got that. Some love it. Some here don't like my politics & even don't like me. That is fine as well.

You want to make fun of me - go for it. Heck I will laugh as well.

But when the lies & shameless accusations start flowing its is lame.

Like I said I know I am clean, I know I am a great champion & I know all the facts I have said about me can be checked out (and most already have been verified). So, whatever.

This SS is such a "tough guy" that he can't even reveal to the board who he is (although he more or less has). How tough is that.

I am JDV and I stand by what I say.

The fact is a year from now I will be more successful - not sure they can say the same.

Although, I wish all the best. Like I said negativity doesn't solve anything & there is a place for all markets/segments. In the end I love PL and believe in freedom which is why I just do my thing - but those guys can't stop chasing me.

Of course, this is likely thanks to some of our friends here - but then I hope we have crossed that bridge now & this is in the past.

Fair enough, but part of that has to do with what you have posted, you have to admit.

I have no clue if what SS said is credible and I didn't know he deleted his earlier threads, because I apparently wasn't on the site at that time. What I do remember is you saying you were going to take him down for him posting shit about you on here. Maybe you didn't, maybe you did. Maybe it has been deleted, maybe it hasn't.

I am pretty sure this will continue.
