First, read LTL's post. The only useful part of it was pointing out that you were wrong about his previous post. Perhaps you should try understanding what has actually been posted on the thread before you launch your next attack on somebody else.

Also, getting caught up in a tangent is very common practice on this site. That's what I'm doing. Somebody brought up Lucroy and I argued that Gomez has been better. Others continued the argument, so I have done so as well. I don't see you complaining every other time those side arguments pop up in a thread, which suggests that you don't only care because I'm doing it and in the process pointing out the inaccuracies and lousy comparisons that have made up such a large part of your posts on this thread.

See my previous post. Lucroy vs. Gomez is a perfectly legitimate side argument and those types of discussion happen on this site all the time. I initially brought it up as a counterpoint to Lucroy as a candidate. I don't think he is even the best MVP candidate on his own team and having one another as teammates will certainly hurt both of their chances in the voting, as it should.

I have no idea what that means, but it did bring me a little joy.

I would LOVE to have a beer with you some day.

If that actually happens, I'll keep your advice in mind. As it is, you are just the excited little boy chasing the next shiny object without any real understanding of its value.

Actually, here's a tangent to the tangent: a poll if you will.

If anyone else wants to play along ... if the Brewers could have just one true MVP candidate, would it be:

    1) Lucroy
    2) Gomez

Anyone who follows baseball should be relatively informed about the two players.

    Voting closes at midnight.

You have no idea how much study I've done of the topic, Vizzini. You talk out of your ass as usual.
Start with Fielding Independent Pitching and follow the dots. You can do it.

That could be fun. Only folks around here I wouldn't want to have a beer with are the trolls who think they need to hide behind an internet persona. I don't have time for that crap.

My point was simple. The Brewers have two guys who belong in the discussion for MVP, though I don't think either should win it. Candidates on the same team can cost one another votes. Somebody like McCutchen stands out a little more because he is so much better than everybody else on his team. That is not the case with Gomez and Lucroy.

I wouldn't have a beer with you until you reached the legal limit. Or at least hit the age of 18.

Every stathead with a clue admits that the current defensive metrics need a lot of work. I wonder where that leaves you?

Also, the Vezzini thing is kind of funny coming from you. Vezzini was a character who rambled on and on about his own knowledge and expertise, so much so that he underestimated everybody around him. Sounds a lot like your persona on this site.

I must have started really young, as little OOP turned 11 last month.

I stay in my wheelhouse, Vizzini. Never claimed to be the smartest on the site. Never sought to be.

You constantly talk about your expertise, Vezzini. I just state my opinions and unlike you, I actually care about accuracy.
