This is the kind of stupid fuck we have out there who sits down to vote for the AP Top 25 and, after finishing with the 10 most obvious choices, says, "Hmmm ... I can't even THINK of 25 major college football programs -- I know! Notre Dame, Nebraska, UCLA -- I know THOSE three!"

    Stupid son of a bitch.

Rice is a jackass, and obviously not even paying attention if that's how he came away from watching Greinke give up only two hits through six innings.

The inclusion of Tanana with Guidry and Ryan isn't as strange as some might think. Most of us probably only remember him as a soft-tosser at the end of his career, but if I remember correctly, he had nasty stuff before arm problems took away his big fastball.

From '74 to '77, Tanana had 915 strikeouts.

Yea, Tanana was a fireballer when he was with the Angels.

But, still, Rice shows what an idiot he is by making those comments.

Since Greinke's last loss (when he gave up four to the White Sox), he is 5-1 and has given up just four runs (three earned) and he went to the seventh inning or beyond in all except the last two.

He also had 32 strikeouts and only allowed 18 hits (eight in one game).

You don't throw 23 shutouts by age 24 like Tanana unless you have some ungodly stuff. He was dominant.

But neither he nor Ryan ever had a season like Greinke's having this year.

Guidry did, of course. But that's a short, short list. And Greinke's on it.

    Oh, hi Zeke! :D

    Most strikeouts through age 24:

    1. Blyleven, 1,327
    2. Feller, 1,233
    3. W. Johnson, 1,218
    4. Gooden, 1,168
    5. S. McDowell, 1,101
    6. Tanana, 1,074
    7. Mathewson, 1,065
    8. Valenzuela, 1,032
    9. Drysdale, 1,004
    10. Dierker, 965

King Felix is 20th, currently, with 789 Ks through age 23*. He's still got another season left to add to that total.
    * That's through his age 23 season, not through his actual birthday.

Sorry Jimbo, you lost the right to say anything about Zack Greinke when you said this.

Unfortunately, Rice is far from the only baseball "expert" to have seen Greinke once or twice this year.

    Question for Zeke:

Only pitcher with 3,000 Ks who is not in the Hall of Fame. ;D

Don't look now but Felix won again tonight, No. 17, with 11 Ks. He has two starts remaining and could get 19 wins.

I guess he's locked up second to Greinke.

Hold on, hold on, I know this one.

Dammit, it's on the tip of my tongue.

    Do I get another clue?
