They were both great, great starts.

I won't argue with everything you write.

Meanwhile, you'll argue things I didn't even say.

Other Cy Young contenders face the A's and their punchless ilk, too, right?

Just pointing out how much he is blowing the importance of this one start out of proportion.

He got the win because the Yankees scored 12 runs, not because he pitched well. That is the part you seem unable to grasp.

You act like it is somehow a good thing to give up runs as long as you have a big lead. It is a hell of a lot tougher to keep blowing hitters away with no run support, as Felix Hernandez does.

    This was resolved weeks ago.

The Yankees didn't score their second run today until Sabathia had already pitched six shutout innings.

And you can keep telling me how great King Felix is. You won't get an argument from me.

But he's not going to win the Cy Young this year.

He is more deserving than Sabathia. And Hernandez has to pitch under those circumstances most of the time. Sabathia gets a hell of a lot more support.

Again, you are arguing that the guy on the better team deserves the award. I am arguing that the guy who pitches better deserves it.

I'm telling you who I think will win it.

Do you think Felix will win it?

I think Buchholz or Price are more likely candidates. Buchholz is probably the most deserving because he leads the league in ERA.

No chance in hell Felix wins the Cy Young, unless he goes 6-0 with a 0.28 ERA in September. Anyone who thinks he will win or should win doesn't know how it works.

The award is Sabathia's, barring a collapse.

    They're both deserving.

By the time it's done, I still think CC will walk away with the hardware.

TSP once again showing off his ignorance.

Sabathia might win it, especially if he dominates down the stretch like he did two years ago. But he is far from a sure thing with an ERA that much higher than some of the other contenders.

Hernandez won't win it. But to say he doesn't deserve it shows you have no idea what you are talking about. He has pitched much better than Sabathia all year. The only difference is that he is on a much weaker team.
