I dig the mesh shirt. He just happens to be the only man I know who says he owns one. :)

bumping this up to see if there are any frontrunners for the Florence opening, which IMO, is a damn fine opening. heard there's still time to get those applications in the mail, as they'll get their football sections done and then start taking a serious look at candidates.

is this a preps opening or what?

From what I understand, it's about an even split between preps and a combination of Alabama (about 2 hours away) and Auburn (about 4 hours), with some desking thrown in. Your Alabama-Auburn stuff is going to be 90 percent game coverage, very little chance to get to the schools during the week.

If you don't mind preps and want to get some good game clips and don't mind doing some design work...AND WORK WITH RYAN SONNER!...then get your stuff in now. Good gig.

    Nice gig, good folks.

And if you're lucky, you get to visit the D-II championship hospitality room in December.

I've heard outstanding things about that D2 Championship Game hospitality room and the fine folks who operate it.

Apparently it's a 3-day throwdown with a huge budget for beverages, etc. Makes Florence in early December actually tolerable, it sounds like.

  9. Wow, THAT beats the Division I-AA hospitality room in Chattanooga by lightyears, though Chattavegas is far more tolerable than Florence the other 364 days.

    A 3-day throwdown in Florence?

It takes that much drinking to tolerate Florence?

Free beer and whiskey would even make montana tolerable in december. who on this board would turn down free beer?

    that's what I thought.

I'll turn down free beer as long as there's free whiskey.
