And don't forget, folks -- in two weeks, Florence joins the rest of the free world when it begins serving draft beer. I hear self-serve gas stations are coming in early 2008.

  2. Who let the Florence Area Chamber of Commerce onto this thread? (And why no love for Hackleberg?)

The rest of us will be lined up right behind him. Chances are, the beer will be gone by the time we get a crack at it.

    Dead. To. Me!!!!

Montana is always tolerable, unless one is a complete wimp about cold and snow.

Western Montana is always tolerable. I wouldn't want to spend a winter in Butte. Would you?

  7. Newbie suggestion: Let's start a thread labelled "States/Regions that Are/Aren't Tolerable/Intolerable and Places to Get Free Beer/Whiskey There.
At least that way, none of this would be posted under a thread labelled "Alabama beat in Mobile."

Fetch us all a beer, newbie. This thread already has been jacked six ways from Sunday. Now you decide to chime in?

Wouldn't bother me. Awesome bars in Butte, always good for a warmup.

  10. Everyone's gotta breakin' point, I guess.
Anyway, how about that stock market, huh?

    Back on topic, sort of.

Where is the best place to drink and get a good steak in Florence?

    for steak, I prefer Dale's or George's.
best place to drink is where somebody else is buying. but Bayou Blue is not bad and a few new places are now open downtown
