Alec Baldwin shoots and kills cinematographer on set of Rust

The 24-year-old head armorer of Alec Baldwin's movie 'Rust' told a podcast she 'almost didn't take' her last job because she wasn't sure if she was 'ready'

 

I heard an NPR report on this today which didn't mention Baldwin's name once (gun went off, etc.).

#AlecForPrison was trending last night. Not a word about gun safety. Very little about Hylana Hutchins. Some people wrote they wanted to see him go to prison for imitating Trump on SNL.

Almost verbatim from Morning Prayer at Canterbury: "We want to offer our thoughts and prayers for Alec Baldwin. Any one of us would find being in such a position to be horrifying and we are praying for him. (pause) Oh, and uh, we care about the woman he shot and her family."

I don't remember reading anything in the New Testament about the feelings of wealthy white men coming first at all times. FWIW, I feel for Alec Baldwin. When bad things happen to difficult people, the pile-ons can be brutal.

 

I loved Voyagers too as a kid, and my Mom encouraged me to watch it because she thought it was a good show too.

When my oldest was a kid, I bought the one season and we watched it over the course of a few days. He enjoyed it too.

 

Voyagers was an excellent program. I've looked high and low for it, to watch freely.
