I’m skipping today’s episodes. Instead, I’m sitting on the back deck with a Boulevard Pale Ale open and the one-hitter primed and ready.

    It’s 78 here. It’s a lovely day.

The third DD tonight was simply impossible

And then Final Jeopardy was a piece of cake.

    Walla Walla, Washington, represent!

I was never a big fan of Corky with the dramatic flair.

Ike was a smart FJ bet last night from being in the finals of the TOC

And Ken twisted the knife by mentioning the bet the next night.

I hope when all these tournaments are over there is an end to all the dramatics and commentary from the contestants. And nobody cares whom you mention in your Final Jeopardy answer.

That last Double Jeopardy question was absurdly easy. A person with a basic knowledge of WWII would have known that.

Last night was the most amazing mathematical happenstance for FJ. These guys are fantastic

They are three excellent and well-matched players. But the “first to three wins” TOC finals format grows old with the same three players on stage for up to seven nights in a row.

I’m ready for all these tournaments to be over and a return to “normal” Jeopardy! games.
