    Holzhauer has no interest apparently.

Jennings and Buzzy Cohen - who did the Tournament of Champions - would be the former winners to host.

I’ve been Team Buzzy since I saw him as a contestant. He’s a little flashier than Ken, and I think he’s different enough from Alex that he won’t be some pale imitation. He’d just do his own thing.

But Jennings would be a solid choice and, I suspect he will be the next host.

I'm fine with both of those choices. Of the guest hosts, I thought Haber and Bialik were the best, but if they're A's to me, then Jennings, Buzzy and a couple others were solid B's.

The repeats of old shows, with Trebek as host, that have been being shown the past 10 days or so, have been jarring in a way.

Not liking it. It's time to move on.

Imagine MSNBC's search for the next Rachel Maddow will be just as interesting. Anyone short of Michelle Obama and it will be a let down. For a "progressive" channel, MSNBC is pretty monochromatic and straight. They should probably reboot their entire primetime. Put Williams' news at 7, the new person at 8, Chris Hayes 9 and O'Donnell at 10.

Trebek was terrible at the interviews. Reinforced watching one of the reruns this week.

Can we just get on with a host and a regular schedule?

I'm fine with buzzy if he loses the asshole glasses.

I kind of loved when Trebek didn't give a shit / no sold a guest's story.

My favorite was from a year or two ago, when a guy told him that he once sold socks to Meryl Streep at some department store in Albany. I felt bad for the contestant afterward, because the response was extremely dismissive.
