In fairness, she was thrown into that situation after doing her letter-flipping gig for nearly 40 years and on little notice. I didn't see anything to indicate she would've gotten better at it, though.

Ryan Seacrest = Gen X's Dick Clark, but I remember Dick Clark actually having a bit of a personality.

One of the funniest bits on "L.A. Law" came when the Douglas Brachman character (Alan Rachins) revealed that he had a nervous reaction when he faced a brief anxious moment. He had a chance meeting with Vanna White, who he always crushed on. He turns around, sees her, farts and passes out.

 

Man, that librarian really leaned into the librarian outfit her last day.

 

I too was a fan of the librarian ... and she was not a bad player, either. Rare during this recent stretch of episodes.

 

In one of her interviews, she said she went to grad school to be a librarian because a stranger told her she looked like one.

 

She also kinda had the voice of Judy Greer.
