So you don't believe me. That's your prerogative.

Yes just because you covered them does mean you know more than any diehard fan ever would. I mean the Eagles are very open with information on their players and who they think can and can not play.

The argument here isn't that Meshawn couldn't be a good third or fourth receiver; it's that him coming in would mean Avant or Lewis (both of whom are younger, faster and cheaper) would not make the team. The Eagles like those guys too much and have invested time in them both meaning Meshawn won't be wearing midnight green this year.

I'm well aware of how the Eagles feel about their young. However, I'm not as impressed. In the clutch, I don't see those guys making big plays. But my opinion, just like yours, doesn't matter to Andy Reid.

Yeah, you're right. Hank Baskett's catch against the Saints in the playoffs wasn't absolutely amazing or anything. If not for the penalty, that catch goes down as legend.

Until McNabb throws a pick on a pass intended for Thomas Tapeh on the next play ala the Super Bowl following T.O.'s 60-yard catch and run and then a pick on a throw to Dorsey F'n Levens on the next play.

You're right on there, but I think Avant can be a player in the NFL. He's got good hands, good quickness and isn't afraid to go over the middle. He's the Eagles slot receiver in three years.

  7. Where's the decorum and manners, Boots? Name calling from you? While responding to a post that's on topic? Tsk, tsk.

If you're as old as you say then that just makes the fact that you 1) can't write 2) don't know what you're talking about and 3) are completely unlikeable much more pathetic. Also creates a disturbing mental image of some 50-year-old apartment dweller sticking it up his 60-year-old neighbor's pooper.

Back to the topic: Keyshawn sucks.

    1, I can write. 2, I do know what I'm talking about. 3, I'm very likeable.
NOW BACK TO THE TOPIC: Keyshawn may suck as person but he could help this team. In my opinion.

  9. Oh, you convinced me. I was so wrong. ::)

Your posts speak for themselves and Keyshawn is not good anymore. Panthers need veteran WR help more than the Eagles do and yet he's on the street ... hmmmm.

No way the Eagles do this. On another topic which DT goes now that Scott is in? It has to be Rayburn, who has just sucked ass against the run and pass the last two years.

Yeah, Rayburn goes, though they will keep him around until late in camp, just to see if they can get a draft pick for him. Or in case another d-tackle gets hurt.

That's what I'm thinking too. I'd be surprised if they got anything for him, but then again they did gets picks for Hank Fraley and Josh Parry.
