Sorry Mayfly, missed your sarcasim there. You need to learn the blue font. I just learned it recently, but I still don't have it down pat.

I was not too serious about them going out to get Calvin Johnson, but he would be an amazing weapon for Donovan to have. Corey Dillon has been on the record to say that he would like to join the Eagles and he wouldn't mind about the carry load. He said he would like 7-10 a game, and I think the Eagles could give him that. Buckhalter's signing pretty much castrated Dillon's chance to become an Eagle. I like your idea about the rain and the strippers. Maybe then you could be the real Pac-Man and make it rain cherries and oranges. If you do turn into Pac-Man, watch out for the ghosts, them bitches can move.

I stand corrected. I still would not put him in there, maybe if he can prove something big in training camp, but I would place him in ST and let him go berserk.

I'll tell you what though I covered training camp the first few days last summer and he certainly didn't look that big. 240 tops, but maybe he lost some weight when the Eagles said they were going to switch him to LB.

NFL.com is reporting the Eagles signd DT Monte Reagor to a three-year, $8.5 million contract with $2 million guaranteed. So who is out on at DT? With Reagor you'd have him, Patterson, Bunkley, Walker, Rayburn, Ramsey. They aren't keeping six so who goes and who stays? They've tried to trade Rayburn, but no takers or at least none for what they want. I say Walker is out. He's the logical choice financially and clears the way for Bunkley to start.

  7. I'd say goodbye to Rayburn, though Walker is a possibility because I might be wrong, but I thought his contract was coming up soon. Anyway, wasn't Reagor a Colt ... I'm not really impressed.

First of all why was this thread moved? Secondly, Walker's contract is up after 2009 I believe, but he's making far more money than Rayburn which is why I think Walker is gone. Some people are saying Lajuan Ramsey, but he's going to be in his second year and I doubt the Eagles are going to give up on him that quickly.

  9. Yeah, I read that Walker is trade-bait. Ramsey is young and talented, I'm sure they'd try to sign him to a long-term contract.

John Clayton is reporting the Eagles are close to trading for Takeo Spikes. I saw on NFL Network that Green Bay, Buffalo and Minnesota have interest in Darwin Walker.
