Some interesting thoughts from Reid on Trotter in this piece.

    Best quote from Reid:
"Look around. I've got a great situation. It's as good as it gets in the National Football League. I've got an owner who supports me. I've got a president who supports me. Both of them are sharp. I've got a good staff and good players. If I do it right, then we should continue to win some games and have a chance to compete for the Super Bowl."

Any band which can turn out three successful solo artists (Henley-Frey-Walsh) and a fourth who should be (Schmitt) deserves more than this silly little football thread.

Take that up with the mod. For some reason he moved the thread from the sports board. Maybe he thought the same thing you did.

Time to revive this bad boy with just over a week to go until the draft. Everything I see says the Eagles are going secondary in the first round. I agree although I'd like to see them take a big cornerback. Thoughts?

The Eagles signed DT Ian Scott (of the Bears) to a one-year deal today. That's a hell of a lot of DT for Philly. They have to be shopping at least one if not two DT. Rayburn and ???

I'd like to see them take a run at Keyshawn. I think he could help them out a lot.

Keyshawn would make sense as a slot guy, but it won't happen. He ran afoul of Jon Gruden in Tampa Bay, and Gruden is buds with Andy Reid, dating back to the days when they were Green Bay assistants together.

Besides, I think Reid learned his lesson about strong-willed receivers when that Owens fellow was in town.

See my post on Keyshawn's thread on sports Boots. It just doesn't make sense and I agree with the best point guard in Sixers' history. You the man Mo!!!

  11. Why would the Eagles need Keyshawn? They're not exactly short on possession receivers.

Good to see ya back, Melock.

Egos could come into play but I think everyone in the NFL knows that Reid is the Eagles. He runs a strong ship that has a lot of respect.
