    N.C. State won't get in without a win Sunday. Not a chance. But much like 1997, they give their new head coach a spot in the NIT three days after everyone assumed their season over.

    So what are you ranting and raving about then? You're going after schools as if they're entrance in the tournament has preordained, criminal, and automatic when it may well be likely that nothing of the sort happens tomorrow. How about you put the same efforts into Clemson, Wake, and Morgan State?

    And now it looks like they're going to put time back on the clock..... Akron missed a free throw with 6.6 seconds left, and ESPN's replay shows the clock frozen on 6.6 seconds left after it was touched by Miami on a rebound tip.
    Looks like the Zips will get a couple seconds back.

    Refs put 0.6 seconds back on, Akron's baseball pass goes wide and out of bounds, and Miami survives in a stunner.
    Charlie Coles and the Redhawks going dancing. Crazy finish.

    Please stop the Florida State nonsense. FSU is not getting in the tournament.

    Ga Tech is not a lock either. ACC could get only 6 ... 7 if NC State does the unthinkable (it won't)
