If anybody can win at W&M it's Tony Shaver. He's done wonders turning the Tribe into a .500 team.

I would have said it if it wouldn't be considered being sarcastic, but if I had a vote for CAA coach of the year, it'd go to Shaver. You generally expect VCU, ODU, Drexel and Hofstra to do well. You don't expect the Tribe to be 15-14, even if they played in the Bay Rivers District.

That said, it'll probably go to Anthony Grant, and for good cause.

Even better was the Matt Doherty ending. :D

William and Mary likely beats Georgia State in the first round, but goes no further.

    UCLA at Washington State tonight.
Does anyone know if this is a national broadcast on FSN?

    I believe it is.

Deadline, who do the Tribe get in the next round?

Could be a good game, but I could also see UCLA blowing them out because they won't be overlooking Wazzu this time around.
Of course, the Bruins may have had travel difficulties with all of the snow up there.

The Georgia State-William and Mary winner gets VCU and the tournament is in Richmond, so it would take a huge upset to get any further.

Wish I could pick the alma mater, but we looked horrid in both games against the Tribe.
But you never know - we beat Towson in the first round last year, then took George Mason to overtime in the quarterfinals.

The Bay Rivers is a tough district. But the CAA isn't chopped liver this year either.

I'd give Grant the COY if I had a vote. It's especially sweet since my alma mater defeated VCU this year in Richmond.

The defense in the Georgia Tech-North Carolina game is just a few notches better than the NBA All-Star game.

Well, Wazzu is playing like absolute trash right now, committing nine turnovers with 6:24 left in the first half. But they are only down 16-14.
I'm starting to like the Cougars chances.
