Doesn't look like Dartmouth is going to Oral Roberts Kansas: 40-12 in the 1st half.

Dartmouth is getting paid $65,000 for this one-time tank job game.

Play has been stopped for over 10 minutes in Tuscaloosa for some sort of fan medical emergency. Someone MAY (radio guys are unsure) have fallen over the railing. They've got the trainers, team doc, a defib machine and enough campus cops to remake the Blue Brothers, and are talking about moving a basket out of the way for quicker egress from the arena.

I don't remember seeing this Nelson kid from Duke before. Love the way he gets to the bucket.

Usually Vitale makes me ill, but for whatever reason his tone and inflection tonight, and I know this sounds like a crazy comparison, reminds me of the way Tupac manipulated his voice and tone at times in rap.

Really? He took it to UNC when he was a frosh the year UNC won the National Title. IIRC, he outplayed McCants when they beat the Heels at Cameron.

    Must've missed it. Oh well.

Yea, it's not really that surprising since he was hurt much of last year. When he's healthy he can play underneath extremely well for someone who's only 6'3. He scares me more than McRoberts, since McRoberts has no discernible post moves. Wright will eat him up on defense and Hansbrough will score on him the way May used to destroy Shelden.

Tupac Vitale would say Shelden destroyed everybody.

To say that he'd have to conveniently forget about May's last three games against Shelden when he averaged about 20 and 20, and that's far from an exaggeration.

Tupac Vitale conveniently forgets anything negative that happens to Duke.

Errek Suhr was already a deity at Indiana. He's scrappy, he fought his way to a scholarship.

    And most importantly, he's white.

But he would have been considered God himself had he somehow hit the game-tying shot against Duke after helping IU come back from the dead early in the second half. HE EVEN GOT THE COACH K HUG!!!

Of course, Hoosiers fans will forget all about an unforgivable 10-second call and a dumb ass inbounds pass that helped make it a 3-point game instead of a two-point game (or tie) for Duke.

    You know, because he's white.

And some will ignore Armon Bassett's good performance and claim his last 3-point attempt (which WAS a terrible shot) cost IU the game.

    You know, because he's black.

I wasn't able to catch the game, only the score. I can't believe IU made it that close, they have one good player, and he can't stay healthy.
