Paula Jones being bought off by clinton's political adversaries did change the tone of those allegations just a bit.

Ya, that was unfortunate. If you never make a point to state that people should be decent, you should not be held accountable for being decent yourself. I'm mulling over a switch of parties just for the moral free pass.

Yeah, the Clinton comparison is just a non-starter, since there was no election forthcoming.

I guess Boom's counter would be that he continued to have high approval ratings? I suppose that is some proof that it didn't hurt him in the public eye, and at least something to go off of when trying to figure out how this might affect Cain.

I guess my counter would be that it's not a gage of fitness for office.
